It used to be thought that little owl (Athene noctua) is a herald of death, and barn owl (Tyto alba) brings fire. Those wonderful birds are predators, however you can only watch photos of Cezary Korkosz, to become convinced that they can be interesting and even amusing, but not scary. The number of birds' species (Aves) stated in Poland and mentioned in avifauna list of our country amounted 444 on 31st of December 2005 (according to Polish Zoological Association's Commission of Fauna Ornithology Section).
