Sylwia Ajola Moscicka started her adventure with photography in 2001. Photography is her passion, it is an attempt to capture on film all that is unique and last for just a second. The author particularly enjoys artistic and documentary photography.

European Birdwatch is a month-long world bird festival - the celebration of birds, comprising hundreds of exciting birdwatching and bird-related cultural events. We invited the users of Polska.pl website to participate in the festival and to take part in our photo-competition. The pictures presented in the gallery have been sent to the competition.

Maciej Rebis, the author of the pictures, has been interested in the world of fauna since his early childhood. Then however, it mostly applied to amphibians and chicks which fell out of the nest.

About 230 species of birds hatch in Poland, regularly or from occasionally. Further 160 species stop in our country on their way to the South or stay here to winter.
