Birds may migrate thanks to numerous abilities, which we humans may only dream of. They can interpret earth magnetism and use it as their compass. They can also find their direction using the sun and stars for navigation. They are also able to identify the point in the sky all the stars revolve around. This point indicates the north (on the northern hemisphere) and south (on the Antipodes).
